Farway Gaius McCarthy was born outside of time. The son of a time-traveling Recorder from 2354 AD and a gladiator living in Rome in 95 AD, Far's birth defies the laws of nature.

Exploring history himself is all he's ever wanted, and after failing his final time-traveling exam, Far takes a position commanding a ship with a crew of his friends as part of a black market operation to steal valuables from the past. But during a heist on the sinking Titanic, Far meets a mysterious girl who always seems to be one step ahead of him.

MILANA'S REVIEW

CALLING ALL TIME TRAVELLER FANS AND ALL NON TIME TRAVELLER FANS! CALLING ALL SCIENCE FICTION AND HISTORICAL FICTION ADDICTS! CALLING ALL FIREFLY LOVERS! Come, come my friends, come peer into the book that is Invictus! This was hands down the most engrossing read this year because it was just so good.

I really find it exhausting when so many books are part of a series I just can’t keep up with all of them so when I saw Invictus was a stand alone I knew it would fulfill my wish. You all need to put this one on your TBR if you like camaraderie like in Guardians of the Galaxy or Firefly.

The friendships, relationships, storyline and historical references really hit the bulls eye for me. Loved it!

**Thank you Hachette Book Group Canada for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review, it was AWESOME.**
