Top Ten Tuesday: Non-Superhero Graphic Novels

__________

For this weeks Top Ten Tuesday we could pick our own recommendation list! I chose to focus on non-superhero graphic novels as I am always looking for new ones. Superhero graphic novels aren't for me, they seem to follow the same patterns and I find it a bit repetitive. That being said if you know some that are unique and think I'd like MOST DEFINITELY comment below, I'd love to hear! Onwards to the Top Ten for this week!

10. Persepolis A coming of age story in a world of war and political regression through hope, smiles and laughter.

9. Artemis Fowl

Child genius takes on Fae underworld with nothing but his wit and hulking body guard, Butler.

8. YVAIN: The Knight of The Lion Your classic Arthurian world with Knights, Dragons, Giants and the women behind it all.

7. Nimona

Extremely chatty girl saves the world by being extremely chatty and oh right, a Dragon.

6. Angel CatBird

It's your dream come true, an accidentally mutated Human/Cat/Bird Superhero! A hoot of a good time with clever cat puns.

5. Scott Pilgrim

Not your typical awkward musician, this one battles seven evil ex-boyfriends to capture his girls heart.

4. Saga

Don't enter this one without being ready for a story that's raunchy and dark with beautifully shocking artwork.

3. iZombie

Grave-digger turned zombie Gwen needs fresh brains to keep her going.. but staying "undead" is complicated when the memories of the dead come with baggage.

2. Toil & Trouble

Experience Macbeth from a whole new perspective - through the eyes of the Fates. Something wicked this way comes, something wicked indeed.

1. Monstress

Make way for gods, humans, robots and many others in between. Filled with magic and flairs of steam punk with a fantasy backdrop in an alternate world.
