SYNOPSIS
Charlie Grant’s older sister is getting married this weekend at their family home, and Charlie can’t wait—for the first time in years, all four of her older siblings will be under one roof. Charlie is desperate for one last perfect weekend, before the house is sold and everything changes. The house will be filled with jokes and games and laughs again. I am squealing in delight! This book was SO CUTE. It was exactly what I needed right now in my life and I stayed up way too late reading it. So late that the next day I had 3 cups of coffee before noon... which is a ton of coffee for me because usually I don't drink ANY. But guys, it was so worth it. I've never read any of Matson's books before but let me tell you I am so running out to get them. Her writing was so refreshing and she made me laugh out loud! I adore this book.
If you're looking for a fun summer read you HAVE TO READ SAVE THE DATE. I'm so tempted to write this entire post in caps lock because this was such a fun read. If you're going to the beach or sitting on your deck or even hibernating inside because it's too hot outside you have to have this book in your hands. Trust me. I don't usually read contemporary and chick-lit is one of those hit or miss for me but this was clear perfection. I'm definitely rambling now but that's how you know I loved a book :)
