I am loving all the Indigo Teen Staff Picks that have been selected this year but by far Neverworld Wake is my favourite this year. This was a genre blend and it was full of surprises. I loved the pacing and man can Pessel WRITE. You can also really see how well researched this book was, that’s why I love her adult reads so I knew we were in for a treat with this one.

So many layers to these characters I was loving it! It’s so refreshing to have a book that tackles different ideals. The question of “what happens when you die” is the question we all wonder and I love the concept of Neverworld Wake in that aspect. It was also really mysterious. I haven’t read a mysterious book in awhile. The reveal was fantastic and I just really enjoyed this one!
