Confession time! Only Amy Harmon can completely make me forget that I am usually not a fan of contemporary. She just has a way with words and those words burrow into my gut, EVERY.DAMN.TIME.

Making Faces was absolutely amazing. It ripped me to shreds and slowly put them back together. Each time I read a book by Harmon I have to brace myself and remember that although she’ll put the reader through a rollercoaster of emotions the end is always worth it.

Contemporary is always hard for me because I can’t seem to connect with the characters but when it comes to Harmon’s books I completely fall for them. Make sure you experience Making Faces… it’ll change you.
