MILANA'S REVIEW
I've been wasting away because I finished Children of Blood & Bone and now I can't do anything but think about what happened!! Don't let the size intimidate you, you will FLY through it because it's so good. The action is amazing. The characters are so vivid. And the world is masterfully created. Adeyemi brings out emotion and attacks prejudice and racism with fists of fire.
This West-African inspired fantasy takes all my favourite parts of YA fantasy and crafts something completely new and unique! The multiple POVs were blended seamlessly. It's amazing to see a YA fantasy stand out in front of the highly dense genre!
Being one of my most anticipated reads for Winter 2018 Children of Blood and Bone blew it out of the water. I cannot wait to see this translated to the big screen because YES the rights have been bought and we will be seeing this in theatres! This is such an epic book that deserves an epic movie.
